Our Rooms

Across two floors, our 19 brand new and individually designed boutique bedrooms are a haven for escapism in the heart of Bristol city centre – the ideal base whether you’re here for a weekend break, mid-week escape or in the city on business.

No two rooms are quite the same, from the cosy (perfect for a snug stay), to the loft (for something a little different). Some rooms can be booked together to create a secret hideaway if you’re staying with a group, all have space for cots for little ones, some have a single or double sofa beds for (not so little) little ones, and some have space for a doggy bed (or two), too.

Some boast expansive windows and high ceilings, some boast quirky corners and stand-out features, some ooze with extra space to sit back and relax, and some boast separate freestanding bathtubs. All come complete with an uber-comfy bed, rainfall shower, a carefully curated mini bar stocked to the brim with treats and tipples, Nespresso coffee machine and dedicated working space.

Summer Nights

Join us this spring and summer for a topped-up two-night stay for two. We’ll welcome you with a summer-in-a-cup Hugo Spritz, you’ll spend two nights in an uber-comfy bed and we’ll spot you a table in the pub for a properly good meal on either night. Oh, and there’s brekkie on both mornings, too (in bed, if you like).

Dog-Friendly Bedrooms

Guests with 4 paws are most welcome, and Indigo, our pub pooch (pictured) can’t wait to say hi! Up to two pups can stay with you, where available, for an additional £15 each per stay, and rooms come complete with a doggy bed or blanket, bowl and tasty treats.

Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Bristol?

We love our hometown, and we just know you will too. We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in Bristol that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us. Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Bristol props the top of your city break hitlist, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Bristol?

There’s so much. Honestly, so much. There’s the city stay must-sees, like Clifton Suspension Bridge, and Brunel’s SS Great Britain (one of Bristol’s most famous attractions). And then there are those not-to-miss lesser-know things like street art walking tours or St. Nicholas Market Air Raid Shelter Tours. And we love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our new-look pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple. Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back. Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got lots of family-friendly bedrooms. All rooms (except the Cosy’s, and The Loft) can fit cots for the littlest of guests. Boutique bedrooms and above can fit fold-out beds (for the bigger little ones). Some Bigger Boutique’s have single sofa beds. And the Feature Boutique has a double sofa bed. Some of our rooms can connect to make super-spacious family rooms. Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

All our rooms (except the Cosy’s and The Loft) are dog-friendly. Just add your dog to your booking (up to two doggo’s can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We don’t have our own parking spaces (we’re just too central for that). But there’s lot of car parks nearby. The closest is just a 3-minute walk away. It’s called NCP Bristol Nelson Street and costs £27 per 24hrs.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re a 15-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station. We’re super central, so it’s a lovely (slightly uphill) walk through the Bristol city centre and past the river. If you’re staying with us for a few days and have lots of luggage, you might find it easier to pop in a cab. You can usually find cabs just outside the station and you’ll be with us in a jiffy. Heading to the airport? Bristol Airport is only a 30-minute drive away, with the Bristol Flyer bus service running 24 hours from Bristol Temple Meads.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already and forgot? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
